Troy McQuagge is the Chief Executive Officer of the insurance company USHEALTH Group, Inc., which is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. This award is open to all candidates in both the public and private sectors as well as nonprofits across the globe. The award can also be won by any CEO at any size of company whether it’s a startup or S&P 500 corporation.
When McQuagge first came to USHEALTH Group in 2010 he was assigned the task of turning around the company’s USHEALTH Advisors division which makes up it captive distribution agencies. His success at doing so lead to him being named the CEO and President of the company in 2014. Troy McQuagge is also a member of the Board of Directors of the company. His success at USHEALTH Group has continued ever since as the company has experienced strong growth and profit.
When winning the award Troy McQuagge credited the entire staff at USHEALTH Group with his win. He also attributed his success to the company’s commitment to offering affordable healthcare plans that can be adapted to meet the individualized needs of their customers.
Troy McQuagge started his insurance career at Allstate Insurance in 1983. It was in 1995 that he joined HealthMarket as the President of their Agency Marketing Group. He continued his career at HealthMarket until he joined USHEALTH Group.
His role with the company gives him the responsibility of overseeing its strategic growth and profitability. He oversees the products and services that USHEALTH Group offers its customers and is also responsible for oversight over the agencies that make up USHEALTH Advisors.
Through its agencies USHEALTH Group offers it customers insurance policies that can be customized to their individual needs. Among the types of policies they offer are Critical Illness, Life Insurance, Dental, Vision, and Short-Term Disability Income Insurance. The company has agencies across the United States and has more than 15 million customers.
